Yes, I’m a Mom and I love food with expressions!

Makes four pizzas
Measure out 1/2 cup tomato sauce from a 8 oz can. Reserve the rest.
1 LB ground beef (I use a beef/veal/pork mixture)
1/2 cup dry bread crumbs
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano leaves
Mix together and divide into four equal parts on a jelly roll pan. Heat oven to 425. Pat each into a 4 1/2 inch circle. Pinch edges of each circle to make a small rim that stands up. Spread each patty with about 2 tablespoons of the reserved sauce.
Bake 15 to 20 minutes. Remove pizzas.
To make faces:
Sprinkle mozzarella on the bottom half, cheddar on the top for hair. Use olive slices for eyes, pimiento slices for mouths…be creative – veggies make great facial features.
Stick the pizzas back in the over for a few minutes to melt the cheese and warm the veggies.
Enjoy!
Today’s Coffee: Green Mountain - Raspberry Rhapsody (didn’t think I’d like it – but I DO! Tastes like summer in my cup)
